What the website stores
The adaptive content control stores a local browser item named codemind:visitor-context:v1. It contains the selected explanation level and non-sensitive problem categories used to keep the website understandable on return visits. Persistent identity and conversation memory are not enabled.
The text typed into the homepage problem interpreter is not placed in local storage. If you choose to continue to the contact form, broad selected categories can be placed in the contact URL and displayed as a form summary; the typed problem text is not transferred. The contact form sends the summary and your message only when you choose to submit it.
Cookies
The V2 public website does not set advertising, social-media tracking or behavioural analytics cookies. The removed login and floating chat features are not part of the production launch, so their session state is not used.
Infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver and protect their services. If Codemind later introduces analytics or another non-essential technology, we will update this notice and add the consent choice required by the deployed configuration before enabling it.
How to control local data
You can block or clear local storage through the site-data controls in your browser. Clearing it resets the website to “Keep it simple”. The rest of the site continues to work if storage is unavailable, although the preference cannot be remembered between visits.
